How to read it

Check a token before you trade it

Explore lists every market DEX Screener knows for a token and ranks them by 24h volume. Four checks, in this order, catch most problems.

  1. Compare the full mint addressNames and symbols can be copied. Match all of the address against the one the creator shared, not only the first letters.
  2. Read The money sitting in a pool for traders to swap against. More liquidity means a trade moves the price less. and How much was traded in the last 24 hours, as reported by DEX Screener. Real interest shows up here, not only in liquidity. togetherBig liquidity with almost no trading is a warning sign. A real market has both.
  3. Check the venuePump means the coin is still on its bonding curve. PumpSwap means it has graduated, and Trade here can use that pool.
  4. Check who controls itOpen Check permissions: a live mint or freeze authority means someone can still add supply or freeze holders.

FAQ

Common questions

Does a listing here mean a token is safe?

No. Explore shows what DEX Screener reports for any token. Copycats can use the same name and symbol, and can report large liquidity with almost no trading. Compare the full mint address and check permissions on Manage.

Why can’t I find my new coin?

DEX Screener can take a few minutes to index a new market. Paste the full mint address instead of the name, then press Refresh after a minute.

Why can’t I trade this token on VEYDUCT?

Trade works on the PumpSwap pool of a graduated Pump coin. Coins still on the bonding curve trade on Pump; other venues open on DEX Screener.

Where do the numbers come from?

Prices, liquidity and volume come from DEX Screener and charts from GeckoTerminal. They are public estimates and can lag by a minute or more; after a minute the page says so and Refresh reads them again.

Do I need a wallet?

No. A wallet only adds a “Your tokens” list, read from its public address. Explore never asks a wallet to sign or pay.
